Célia Cabral grew up in this world. She has crossed oceans and gone through different stages of life. And she has kept it all: the techniques, the proportions, and the instinct for putting things together just right.

My name is Célia Cabral. These assemblages didn’t come from an idea—they came from a moment. From a process of reconstruction. From a return to the essentials.

I left a stable career in banking to return to what I’ve known how to do since childhood: creating flavors using my hands and my memory. What my elders taught me in Cape Verde is something I bring to every dish I create.

Nag’s — that’s Nayara, Gaël, and Guilherme. My three children. My home. My reason for starting all over again.
